Country & Stable had to deal with thousands of products, a constant update of the inventory, and seasonal offers. Their current structure was leading to slow updates, navigation strains, and unreliable mobile operations, which meant that customers could not easily locate and buy products.
- Catalog Complexity It was hard to manage thousands of riding and clothing products as well as stable products. The categories were overlapping, and filters were limited, and the customers could not find the relevant items fast, thus frustrating and reducing the online shop experience, which reduced sales.
- Slow Content Updates Their team took an excessive amount of time to refresh banners, promotions, and product pages. This reduced the speed of the launch of the campaigns, postponed the ability to change the prices, and caused the risk of showing outdated information on the site.
- Inventory Confusion Stocking availability was not always evident among sizes and variations. Customers’ orders were not available, leaving them without a refund, support ticket, and frustration, which affected the business in terms of trust and good operation.
- Mobile Friction Slow loading of pages and complex navigation were experienced by the mobile users. Images and filters of products did not work well in scale, which made the process of browsing uncomfortable and lowered the number of conversions among shoppers who used smartphones and tablets.
- Checkout Dropoffs Shipment, delivery schedules, and confirmation of orders were not clear in the checkout process. Customers took their time to make a purchase, and this caused cart abandonment and missed sales in the very high seasonal purchasing season.
Solutions
We rebuilt their store on BigCommerce, which was accompanied by layouts created with Figma and was aimed at the optimization of navigation, content management, and checkout. Our well-organized strategy minimised friction, enhanced product discovery, and expedited day-to-day tasks in the merchandising, marketing, and fulfilment processes.
- Smarter Cataloging We reorganized categories, filters, and collections according to customer shopping behavior. The layout was also improved through Figma prototypes that allowed users to locate products fast, minimize confusion, and enhance the efficiency of browsing around the store.
- Faster Content Tools A flexible page builder was introduced so that their management would be able to update promotions, banners, and product layouts without needing to be assisted by the developer. This cut down on time spent on publishing, agility of the campaign, and kept the store constantly updated.
- Live Stock Visibility Inventory management and live stock synchronization in BigCommerce were set to show accurate availability on variations. This helped avoid overselling, lessened the number of refunds, and enhanced customer confidence over ordering sizes and quantities online.
- Mobile-First Experience We implemented responsive layouts, small-sized images, and minimal navigation. Overall, mobile shoppers would be able to navigate and filter products easily, resulting in increased interaction, quicker loading, and more conversions through handheld devices.
- Clear Checkout Flow The checkout has been updated to show shipping fees, delivery schedules, and confirmation messages. This made the customers feel secure, lowered the uncertainty levels, and motivated more customers to make purchases whenever high-demand shopping was on.
